The onion is known as a tasty and healthy product that can be used in a variety of meals. Its consumption has steadily grown in the recent past.
Finis has been active in the field of onion processing equipment for more than 35 years and has gained from a lot of experience.

 

ONION peeling
The demands on peeled product have increased. For this reason hand peeling is no longer acceptable.
Major quality criteria are a longer shelf life, a microbiological sanitized product and, of course, the appearance of the peeled onion. Also important are yield, capacity, labor requirements and environmental considerations.
In order to provide processors with a suitable peeling machines, Finis has developed several different executions. These range from a stand-alone machine with a low capacity of approx. 3.500 pcs/hr up to completely automatic production lines with a capacity of ten thousand onions per hour.
Based on the size of the onions, we offer three different models:

	Small onions 40-65 mm	: FAPS
	Medium sized onions 65-100 mm	: FUAS
	Large onions 100-140 mm	: FUAS LN

 

F-APS
A complete new machine to peel small onions up to 65mm in an economical way. During the fully automatic peeling process no personnel is needed, due to an ingenious aiming and positioning system.

Up till now the majority of peeling companies used mainly the onions with a size of 60 mm and upwards. Using our new machine it is also possible to purchase the smaller size onions and to peel them very economically. In this way you are less depending on your purchase and are able to supply the special small onion market.
